Getting started

Ditto docs

Hold any Pyth price as a token on Solana. Start here.

Ditto turns any price on Pyth into two tokens on Solana. In a series, LONG follows the price between a lower edge L and an upper edge H until Friday 20:00 UTC, and SHORT takes the other side. One LONG and one SHORT form a pair, paid for in full with H − L in USDC, so neither side can be liquidated.

Example: a gold series from 3,700 to 4,600, with gold at 4,142.47.

Where to start

  • Quick start: connect a wallet and mint your first pair in five steps.
  • Series and bands: how L, H and the expiry decide what LONG and SHORT pay.
  • Ditto Spot: one token that holds LONG week after week.
  • Roll auctions: for makers who sell vaults next week's LONG.

What you can do

In the appWhat happens on Solana
Open a seriesPyth's signed price is posted and verified, and the series records it as its opening price
Mint pairsYou lock H − L USDC per pair plus the mint fee and receive one LONG and one SHORT
Merge pairsOne LONG and one SHORT return H − L USDC, at any time
SettleAfter expiry, Pyth's first price at or after Friday 20:00 UTC fixes both payouts
RedeemEach LONG and each SHORT pays its fixed amount in USDC
Ditto SpotLONG plus USDC become vault shares, and the vault rolls into next week's band

Every number in the app is read from the chain: band edges, payouts, balances and the policy shown in Parameters.
